Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada by her character as Bo. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to play rehearsals and watching her mom do her job. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it the top couple on TV for the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
